The Science of Intelligence Fair 2023 is quickly approaching: Read below for more information and registration information!
What is intelligence? Is it the ability to understand complex math problems, or to do better than others in a chess game? Is it a number, or is it a set of rules? Is it something we can develop, or are we born with it? And also, can machines be intelligent?
Understanding intelligence is one of the great scientific challenges of our time and Science of Intelligence, an Excellence Cluster of TU Berlin, we research its meaning from its many different perspectives.
And since intelligence research is made of many fascinating stories, we would like to invite you to our Science of Intelligence Fair, an entire day dedicated to this interesting topic.
When: 22 September 2023, 10am-6pm
Where: Radialsystem
What: The SCIoI Fair: talks, discussions, demonstrations and networking around the topic of intelligence research.
We will be observing how the behavior of cockatoos, crows and mice can help robots learn to solve puzzles, how robots can help children in a school setting, or how animal (or robot) collectives make decisions. And we will also be discussing ethical issues in AI and admiring simulations of collective motion in fish.
