SCIoI PI Ralph Hertwig appointed scientific expert of the German government’s Covid19 commission
As reported on Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (www.rnd.de), the new federal government led by Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has set up a council of scientific experts to address the Covid19 pandemic.The expert commission includes, among others, well known chief virologist at the Charité Christian Drosten, Hendrik Streeck (head of the Virological Institute at the University Hospital in Bonn), Lothar Wieler (head of the Robert Koch Institute), and Thomas Mertens, (head of the Permanent Vaccination Commission), while the “interdisciplinary expert council” includes, next to other notable names, Science of Intelligence PI Ralph Hertwig, who is also Director of the Research Area Adaptive Rationality at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin.
