Alexios Nompilakis studied Sociology in Athens (BA, Panteion University) and Berlin (MA, Freie Universität) focusing on quantitative techniques and topics, such as European Affairs, Social Inequalities and Welfare States. He simultaneously worked for Pressley Ridge Hungary and the European Youth Parliament, where he took over sociological, administrative and communication tasks. He also organised several events and conferences for political education. At SCIoI he is part of the PR & Communications team with a focus on social media, newsletters, website and events – or anything that helps to communicate science outputs to broader audiences.
