Anne Herms has a degree in Social Anthropology (M.A.) and South Asian Studies from Eberhard Karl University of Tübingen and the University of Cologne with a focus on economic anthropology, globalisation and material culture.

Before joining SCIoI, she has worked in university administration and as a project coordinator for a research network and platform for science communication at the University of Cologne. At SCIoI, she is responsible for HR and controlling and planning finances.
