Kathleen Waak has a degree in Art History & Visual Cultures and Classical Archeology (M.A.) from the Technical University Berlin and the Humboldt University Berlin (HU). From 2016 to 2021, she was the managing director of the HU’s interdisciplinary central institute Hermann von Helmholtz Center for Cultural Technology Research, and from 2014 to 2016 in the office of the cluster Bild Wissen Gestaltung. Since October 2021, she is the managing director of the Science of Intelligence cluster, where she manages the office and coordinates the financial and administrative operations of the applicant universities and the other partners involved.
