Lujain completed her master’s degree in the Archaeology of the Near East from both the Free University of Berlin and Damascus University. With over 10 years of experience in the field, she has developed a deep understanding of the cultural heritage of the region. Gradually she shifted her career focus towards working in museums and exhibitions, combining it with social work to facilitate broader participation in Berlin’s cultural landscape, particularly for underrepresented groups. As the Diversity and Equal Opportunities Manager, she will be responsible for promoting diversity and equal opportunities in personnel matters and ensuring work-life balance for all employees. Additionally, she will conceive and organize thematic event formats that encourage inclusivity and diversity. she will also be responsible for monitoring and advising individuals and groups on strategies for ensuring diversity and equal opportunities. To achieve these objectives, she will assist in creating structures, offerings, tools, and measures that promote diversity and equal opportunities for all.
